Darren Ferrari has ruled himself out of the opening game of the season with a reoccuring injury. This comes after having played some amzing football in pre-season, linking well with Peache, Hearne and Clarke.

Ferrari will try and get himself ready and fit for the clash against his old club Merton Manor. Let's hope he's fit for that fixture.

The old boys are back with a few new faces but already looking tasty. Daurat making things hard for the Vets and really testing them for their Pre-Season friendlies hoping to get the team fit and quick ready for the season.

"I wanted the get the team playing young or strong Vet Sides. I knew that some of the teams we'd be expected to lose but I also wanted to recapture that fighting spirt that we had in the past. We'd often win games we weren't meant to. It also got the team fit for the start of the season. Well, I hope it did." Said Daurat.

First game of the season against AFC Ashstead at Home 10:30am KO.
